I use the recliner to relax and lift my legs. At the end of a long day at work, it's therapeudic. The chair wasn't too difficult to assemble, but I sure couldn't have done it without the help of my adult daughter. I have sort of conventional, leather furniture in the living room, and the recliner doesn't detract from the setting.
